Reception at the property, 45 km south of Bordeaux…
The DAVID family has always been happy to welcome tourists passing through our beautiful region, wine epicureans, professionals, the curious and regulars of the Maison de Garbes to the property.
Since 2014, a tasting cellar has been inaugurated: it is a warm and charming room, shaped by members of the DAVID family. You can, over a drink, taste the range of wines from Château de Garbes with a view of our plots of vines and at the same time our barrel cellar. In winter, a fireplace will brighten up the atmosphere…
We are open all year round (except between Christmas and New Year’s Day). Depending on your seasonal wishes, do not hesitate to notify us of your arrival so that we can guarantee you the best welcome.
This room, supplemented by a reception room, is suitable for organizing seminars, business meals, family events or between friends. Possibility of catered meals under conditions.
Group reception
Our region is popular for its landscapes, its historical monuments and its hiking trails, close to Verdelais , Cadillac and Sainte Croix du Mont .
Every year, we welcome groups of hikers, associations, CEs, etc., who can take advantage of the outdoor and indoor facilities.

For tourists and wine lovers in hiking mode, we provide you with a place to stay (tent location, independent campervan). You will have the opportunity to discover our vineyard in a very beautiful setting. You will be at the heart of our wine activity thanks to a tasting of our range of wines and a visit to the cellars.
Wine tourism in Garbes
A few kilometers from us, you will discover breathtaking views of the Garonne valley from the Calvary of Verdelais , or the church of Sainte Croix du Mont with its cliff of oyster fossils… just astonishing! Without forgetting the bastide town of Cadillac with the Château du Duc d’Épernon and a visit to the beautiful city of Bordeaux .
About thirty kilometers away, you will take a road dotted with vineyards towards Saint Emilion , the Sauternes or the Médoc region. For lovers of the Atlantic coast, you will not miss the walk around the Arcachon Bay with the unmissable Dune du Pyla .
